Meet Brie Horshaw

Miss Black Minnesota USA 2010 is Brittney (Brie) Horshaw, however she likes to tell people, to call her Brie like the cheese because all she does is smile all day, everyday. The 20 year old beauty is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota, with a major in Communications, concentration in Marketing. After completing her undergraduate degree, Brie plans to pursue her Masters. She has aspirations of being a Counselor for teens age 13-20. She feels this age group is the most important to her future and that of her peers.

Aside from school and work, Brie enjoys spending time with family and friends and of course she loves skiing living in Minnesota. She also loves going to the beach and shopping and knows every store in the Mall of America. Brie is very active and considers herself an extrovert. She loves people an always tries to make someone laugh or smile. She describes herself with three words: ambitious, bubbly and sweet. Brie surrounds herself with positive people to help her stay on track with her goals. She says she is not perfect nor is she a perfectionist but she works and plays hard. Brie puts God first in everything that she does and hopes that his light will shine from within her to others.
