Awarded Hardest Worker, Best Committee, and Most Helpful in the Betterment of Brothers and Sisters, along with being crowned Miss Betterment of Brothers and Sisters 2005-2006, Crowned Miss Black and Gold 2006-2007 for the Beta Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. in February 2007 she was crowned Miss Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and was also named Miss Talent and Miss Congeniality for the Miss Virginia Association of Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Scholarship Pageant, Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Rookie Team – Spring 2005, and Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) All-Academic Scholar 2005 (remained an Academic Scholar during collegiate tenure), member of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology, member of the Virginia Psychological Association, member of the Honors Program, VSU chapter of the VSU-NAACP, VSU Student Education Association, and VSU-Psychology club, teen counselor at the Virginia One Church One Child (non-profit organization which helps foster children find permanent homes.
