Achievements:
Tayler Stewart Graduated from Lee’s Summit West High School in 2007. She is currently enrolled as a freshman studying biology at Longview Metropolitan Community College in Kansas City, Missouri. Her goal is to pursue a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry. Tayler has focused her strengths and leadership skills to make a positive difference in her community. Her platform is the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation (AACDCF) which focuses on “Give Back a Smile,” whitening, and disaster relief funds for victims suffering from domestic violence. Domestic violence in the United States is the common cause of serious injuries to women. All women in the U.S face a 20% to 30% risk of lifetime battery. Entering the Miss Black Missouri USA Pageant was a new venue for Tayler. At the age of 18 Tayler had never competed in a pageant before but it is no doubt that her hard work, dedication, support from her family and prayer helped her to reach that goal. In high school, Tayler focused on athletics and academics. She lettered in Varsity on the girl’s golf team and placed third at the conference tournament for debate.
